During the past week, 2nd grade students, majoring in computing technician, were in Poland as part of the implementation of the Erasmus + project Let’s do anything at least accompanied by their professors, Karolina Brleković, Igor Ivanković and project coordinator Prof. Sandra Štrasser This was the last of three mobility projects during which the main goal was to improve information literacy, multilingualism, raise the level of digital, mathematical, natural science literacy and develop educational, personal and social potentials, civic activity, cultural awareness and expression skills among students and teachers. During this mobility, students and teachers had the opportunity to get to know Krakow, visit various cultural and natural sights of this region, socialize with young people from Lithuania and Poland, and participate in various workshops and lectures in a partner school in Sucha Beskidzka. The final result of the project was the creation of shortfeature films and promotional videos aimed at raising awareness of the consequences of cyberbullying especially on social networks and the importance of ecology and self-sustainability. During the project, students applied the acquired knowledge of how to use Internet resources wisely, i.e. to shape critical attitudes towards the content they encounter on the Internet and look for ways to check their quality and truthfulness. At the closing ceremony in the film hall of the Cultural Center Sucha Beskidzka, a competition review of films created during the implementation of the project was held. Out of twelve films from Poland, Lithuania and Croatia, our students’ films won 1st and 3rd place. The film Cyberbullyng by Jane Doboš and Luna Varga (2tr1) won the award for 1st place, and Noa Nedić’s film (2tr1) How to detect fake news won 3rd place. The entire event was broadcast live via the Youtube channel of the local TV station.
