We are proud to announce that the Osijek Electrical and Traffic School has received Erasmus accreditation in vocational education and training. The accreditation was awarded by the Agency for Mobility and Programs of the European Union. This means that, after applying for the award of these accreditations and passing the formal acceptance check procedure, we are subject to a quality check. After checking, it was determined that we have a maximum of 100 points according to the criteria from the Invitation, Rules for submitting applications, Erasmus quality standards and Guidelines for evaluating applications for accreditation in the field of adult education, vocational education and training, and education and general education.
Erasmus accreditation succeeded the Erasmus+ Charter for Mobility in Vocational Education and Training, which the Agency for Mobility and Programs of the European Union awarded to the Osijek School of Electrical Engineering and Traffic in early October 2017. That year, we were the only school to receive this charter. In the previous period, 12 schools had the Charter, and 7 schools received the charter in 2018 and 2019.
The charter is awarded to institutions with proven quality in the organization of mobility in order to encourage them to continue developing their internationalization strategies, but it also enables them to simplify the application procedures for future projects.
It is a recognition of the Osijek School of Electrical Engineering and Traffic for the previous well-conducted mobility of students and motivation to participate in and carry out further such and similar projects, emphasizes Antun Kovačić, B.Sc. ing., director of the Osijek Electrical and Traffic School, adding that this is an important confirmation of the value brought by the persistent and long-term teamwork of the school’s teachers.
